Marshmallow Math

Project for the day: Create a 3D structure using marshmallows and toothpicks.  We started with 4 bags of mini-marshmallows and 1,600 toothpicks for the class.

First we grouped our materials and counted. We used multiplication.

 # per group x # of groups 

We used no paper or pencil to do our math! 

We know our 5's and 10's!!!

And then we really started designing!
