Child Restraint Laws in Iowa

We had in interesting discussion today about vehicle saftey.  Above is a link that shows Iowa's current child restraint laws.  Keep in mind, unless you are 80 lbs. or age 12, you should always ride in the back seat. 

This Week

Monday
Students are wearing green for a 2:15 Character Counts Assembly.  We will have a special guest, Fax Gilbert.  Also, Starlab is in the building this week.  Our class is the first group in, this morning at 8:30. 

Tuesday
We will be blogging using the laptops.

Wednesday
Mrs. M. will be in our room first thing teaching us about healthy eating.  Fresh snacks are a great way to start our day!

Thursday
The first day of March!  Is Spring around the corner?  Maybe after a few more blizzards!

Friday
Our PIE reader Jennifer will be in our room and Ms. Hussey's at 2:15.  We will also have the computer lab for math class!  http://www.abcya.com/
