Come Take a Romp in the Swamp!

We are under construction in our room!  We have just completed the fabulous & exciting book Chomp by Carl Hiaasen.  It is about a pair of kids on a wild adventure through the Florida Everglades. There are some crazy characters complicating things for them along the way.  The book prompted great discussions about bullying & kindness to others-no matter what your first impression is of them.  The 2 main characters were independent thinking kids who showed how to make tough decisions and stick with your friends.  We are sad the book had to end...so we will continue to live it- in our own Everglades right in the corner of our room.  Stop by and visit!!  More pictures to come!
