Thanks a million to our great friends at the Sanford Museum in Cherokee. They really know how to bring dinosaurs to life!
We learned a few things today...
| We learned about Iowa fossils. |
| Triceratops horns are REALLY HUGE! |
| Tyrannosaurus teeth would hurt if they bit us. |
| Crinoids are all over Iowa in fossilized form. |
| Dinosaurs came in different sizes. |
| Digging for fossils is very messy! |
| A 50 foot megalodon shark had a nasty bite. |
| The mud holes in Cherokee are about waist deep.......and we know who our friends are!! |
| We are worn out! |
